Documents and Publications Held by Council

The following documents and publications may be obtained from Council. The list is still being developed, and additional documents will be added as they are identified or become available.

Atherton Tablelands Geographic Information Services (ATGIS)

ATGIS is a unit of the Council specialising in geographic and spatial services.  They have a wide range of publications available, and are able to produce many others if required.  These include, but are not limited to:

  • Orthophotos
  • Aerial photographs
  • Geographic/cadastral plans
  • As Constructed Sewerage Plans
  • Plans of Services (Water, Sewerage, Stormwater).

Planning and Development

  • Planning Schemes (Note that the planning schemes of the amalgated Shires of Atherton, Eacham, Herberton and Mareeba will remain in force until a new Tablelands scheme is adopted)
  • Fees Payable for Planning Applications
  • Development Approvals
  • Material Change of Use Applications on Public Notification
  • Copies of any other documents as requested or stated under ss.5.7.2 and 5.7.4 of the Integrated Planning Act 1997 or the Building Act 1975 as being available for purchase
