Discounts

10% discount on General Rates will only be allowed if all rates and charges are paid in full and received by Council by the due date.  It is strongly suggested that payment is not left until the last day as Council does not accept responsibility for postal or other unforeseen delays. Please ensure that BPay transactions are processed and funds cleared into Council's bank account on or before the discount date.

Payment must be received by Council before the close of business on the discount date and under no circumstances will discount be allowed where payment is made or received after that date.

A pensioner discount may apply to holders of a State Government Pensioner Concession Card or Repatriation Gold Card.

Any unpaid amount will accrue interest at the rate of 11% per annum (compounded on daily balances).
