Weekly Storytime

Storytime and Craft at TRC Libraries

Come and share the wonder of books and reading with your child at a free storytelling and craft session.

Catering to children under 6 years, each session includes stories on a specific area of interest and then an opportunity to create fun things.

• Atherton - 10.30am Wednesday and Thursday
• Dimbulah - After School - Thursday
• Kuranda - 10.00am Friday
• Malanda - 10.00am Wednesday
• Mareeba - 10.30am Wednesday
• Ravenshoe - 10:00am Wednesday
• Yungaburra - 10.00am Wednesday

Storytime sessions and locations

Activities for children are also conducted during school holidays. Please contact your local Library for details.

Baby Rhymetime

Baby Rhymetime sessions have been introduced at Atherton & Mareeba Libraries.

Rhymetime is for babies from birth to 2 year olds.
Rhymetime is a fun music, rhythm and rhyme based session for babies and their carers.

At Atherton Library we are introducing Kindermusic as our Rhymetime event - bit happens every 2nd Tuesday of the month.

At Mareeba Library Rhymetime will take place on the Last Tuesday of each month

Rhymetime is from 10:30am - 11am at Both Atherton and Mareeba Library

After School Craft

Craft with Logan, Meleta and Rachael

Logan, Meleta and Rachel are Mareeba Library's highchool volunteers.  They are looking forward to some awesome craft session with our junior borrowers.  Craft for kids by kids. 

When: The first Tuesday of each month
Time: 3:30 pm  - 4:00 pm
Where: Mareeba Library
Ages: 5 - 12 years old
