Fees & Charges

  • A reminder notice will be sent when items are overdue
  • Fees will be charged for lost, damaged, unreturned or partially returned items
  • Items not returned or renewed within two weeks are considered lost and charged to the borrower's account
  • An administration fee of $10 is charged to cover invoicing costs
  • If the item is returned the replacement cost will be deleted (the invoicing fee of $10 can not be waived)
  • Customers with charges on their card should visit their local library before borrowing further items
Photocopying black & white 20 cents per A4 page each side
40 cents per A3 page each side
Printing black & white 50 cents per A4 page
Photocopying or printing in colour $3 per A4 page
Internet  & email $3 per hour (members and aged pensioners)
$5.50 per hour or $3 per 30 mins (non members)
Laminating (Malanda, Millaa Millaa & Yungaburra libraries only) $1.50 per A4 page   $2.50 per A3 page
Processing fee for lost or damaged library resources $10 per item
Replacement of lost or damaged CD or DVD cases $10 per item
Notice for overdue items $10 per notice
Visitor membership $30 for two year membership
Replacement membership card $2.50
Library bag $3.20
Meeting Room Atherton library $27.50 (outside of library hours) $21 bond
Inter-Library Loan charges may occur from some lending libraries
