Pounds

Stray animals are taken to a pound, if owners cannot be identified or contacted. Pounds are located in Atherton, Malanda, Mareeba and Ravenshoe.

Animals must be reclaimed within three working days and will only be released after full payment of impounding and sustenance fees. All dogs must be registered prior to release from the pound.
