Exemption Access Charges

At the Council meeting held on 19 October 2011, Council amended the 2011/2012 Revenue Statement to confirm that where there are dwellings built over the boundary line of two or more parcels, only one water and sewerage access charge will be applicable.

As a result of this decision you may be entitled to a credit adjustment on your property for the additional access charges levied for the rating period 1 July 2011 to 31 December 2011.

If you believe this applies to you, please complete an Application for Exemption of Additional Access Charges form and submit it to Council. The application form can also be obtained from a Customer Service Centre, or by contacting the Rates Section on 4043 4825.
